Matt Meyer, former National Chairperson of the WRL, was along with us in the FOR-sponsored delegation to Puerto Rico. The War Resisters League, along with the Fellowship of Reconciliation is among the rare international organizations taking a special interest in the Caribbean and my mother's persistence (they will readily admit) has a great deal to do with it. Our family have been supporters of the WRL for many years, and their constant affirmation of the inalienable right of the peoples of the world to freedom and self-determination serve only to justify our admiration for this organization and its workers.
