Chapter 33 was started in our church in Walnut Creek by Peter Christiansen, our previous minister; every month our family participates in their letter-writing campaign to free political prisoners and save lives. On occasion it does just that. More than 40,000 individual prisoners have been helped by Amnesty International since its founding in 1961.
