Performance: “the Dance Legacy of Isadora Duncan” Saturday, September 26, 2009 Isadora Duncan (1877–1927), dancer, revolutionary, pioneer, legend. — Born in San Francisco, Duncan was hailed as a liberation force of her generation. She created a revolution in aesthetics through dance. With a virtuoso sensitivity, she sought movement which is expressive of the human spirit. Lois Flood, solo dancer, will perform Isadora’s lyrical, dramatic and heroic dances.
